Diesel kävi treenailemassa osittain romahtaneessa luolassa, jossa saatiin hajroiteltua pimeyttä ja vaikeita alustoja. Ensimmäisessä tilassa pystyi liikkumaan  seinien viertä ja keskellä oli ns. saareke, ja sitten siellä täällä oli vettä. Maalimies oli "helppo" ja sitten loppujen lopuksi tosi vaikea - keskellä tilaa olevalla saarekkeella. Diesel sai hajun seinustalta ja yritti seurata sitä, ei onnistunut kun eteen tuli pudotus veteen, jonne se osittain molskahtikin. Diesel kierteli hajun perässä sinne ja tänne ja molskahteli veteen useamman kerran - pian koko tilan täytty ihana Dieselin turkinhoitoaineen tuoksu. ;-)
Lopulta Diesel läysi keskellä olleen maalimiehen, josta oli ihan vierestä mennyt ohitse jo useasti. Se haukahti pari kertaa ja sai palkan.

Sitten jatkettiin käytävän puolelle ja siellä oli laitettu ukko ylös hyllyn päälle, arvelin heti että se oli liian vaikea, ja olin jo pyytämässä maalimeistä roikottamaan kättä tai jalkaa alas sieltä kun Diesel jo vai vainun ylhäältä ja nopeasti alkoi haukkua ja ihan selvästi näytti missä maalimies oli.

Sitten oli laskeutunut isoon osittain romahtaneeseen luolaan, ja se oli ykllä kovin vaikeaa Dieselille. Menin itse edeltä ja kutsuin, ja lopulta vähän autoin niin saatiin D alas luolaan. Luolassa se kyllä liikkui ihan kohtuullisesti, sai aika pian vainun ylhäältä yhdestä kulmasta ja kiipesi sinne ja kovin vaarallisen näköisesti yritti nousta takajaloilleen ja kurkkia yhden ison kivenmurikan taakse - ja haukahteli siinä! Maalimies oli kuitenkin tilan toisessa päässä vastakkaisessa nurkassa. Lähdin itsekin liikkeelle sinne päin. Siellä koira sai monta kertaa vainun ukosta mutta ei saanut paikallistettua. Aika pitkään Diesel pyöri siinä ennen kuin lopulta löysi, ja haukkui taas pari kertaa. Hyvää alustatreeniä Dieselille!

Today Diesel trained in a partly collapsed caves. The caves are actually from war time. Diesel got to train moving on difficult surface and in darkness. In the first cave there was water in many places, and while trying to follow the scent in the air, Diesel splashed into water many times. Soon a lovely fragrance of his hair spray filled the room! :-D
In the end he did find the victim who was placed right in the middle of the room, and it was very difficult because the scent gathered by the walls.

We continued to tunnels and a victim was placed high on top of a shelf by a wall. I immediately thought this would be far too difficult for Diesel, and was just about to ask the victim to drop down a leg of an arm, when Diesel got the scent and right away located the victim and started barking! Good job.

Last we arrived in a big cave in which the roof has partly collapsed so it is full of rubble. Going into this cave is difficult, you enter through a small whole and climb down an almost vertical wall for a couple of meters. It was very very difficult for Diesel. I went down first and lured him after me, but I had to help him a little to get it done.
In the cave Diesel moved decently well. The scent of the victim was gathered in a top corner close to us, and Diesel climbed up there, it looked really dangerous because the rocks were very unsteady and Diesel wanted to stand on his hind feet only too peek over a big rock! He even barked at the scent there. But in fact the victim was right across the cave in another corner!
I walked into this direction and led Diesel the way. He got the scent there and spent a long time trying to locate it. Finally he found the victim and barked!

Diesel moves very slowly on difficult surface and needs lots and lots of training and experience in it, but the good thing is that he does not give up, he is active. He is just inexperienced.
