Koska Pöpösellä on taas juoksu, on Diesel viettänyt viikonloput Mikkosten mukana maalla ja viikot täällä meillä jolloin Pöpönen vuorostaan on ollut Mikkosilla. Treenit on jäänyt väliin joksikin aikaa, tottista on yritetty ottaa pari kertaa.

Little Miss Mop has had her heat so we have switched dogs with Diesel's second owner Maiju for the past weeks. During weekends Diesel travelled to the countryside with Maiju's family, and during the week he has stayed here with me and The Mop has stayed with Maiju.

Diesel has had little break from training sessions due to living in two separate households these couple of weeks. And this week I had severe migraine for 3 days and I had to cancel all trainings. And it shows in Diesel! He has so much energy that he has trouble keeping it together. Maiju told me that Diesel might play for 2-3 hours with their Thirza outside on the yard, and then come in and start chewing a shoe because he still hasn't DONE anything...

Diesel needs to work his nose and brains to become tired. It seems he is a true working dog, and being just a family pet probably is not enough for him. He needs to work.

After The Mop was done with her heat, the flock returned home in all: Miklos, Diesel and The Mop. Miklos & I had been to the Finnish Championships weekend competition for SAR-dog teams (we got bronze so now we have all medals: silver in 2007, gold in 2008 and bronze in 2009) and Miklos was tired and cranky. I guessed he and Diesel would fight a little when getting back together, but I was suprised! Miklos did attack Diesel, but Diesel just turned away and ran away to do something else. It happened twice, both times Diesel just went away and did not fight back. Good boy Diesel!!

Today Diesel was bursting with energy but i still felt myself a bit ill. So in the evening I took him to our local volunteer fire brigade training sessions and asked them to carry him a little. So at least Diesel experienced something special today. ;-)
