Tällä kertaa Diesel sai iltaruokansa jäljellä. Kävelimme pellon reunaa pitemmän matkan jäljen alkukohtaan, ja jälleen Diesel sai itsenäisesti "huomata" jäljen. Hyvin meni. Noin 15-20 m jäljen alusta olin laittanut nameja jäljelle hieman harvempaan, ja sen huomasi, sillä siellä Diesel teki pyörähdyksiä jäljen sivulle, mutta palasi itse jäljelle ja jatkoi ja löysi ruokaa. Eiköhän se siitä opi. :-)
Lopussa Diesel ehti mennä purkista ohitse, pysähtyi kyllä sitä haistelemaan, mutta en ehtinyt reagoida. Minun mokani.
Tämä oli ensimmäinen näin pitkä jälki ja minusta koira ei jaksanut lopussa keskittyä niin paljon. Pitänee tehdä niin, että laittaa alkuun vähän huonompia ruokia ja loppuun herkkuja ja katsoa, muuttuuko. Ja kohottaa sitä peruskuntoa...
This was the 4th tracking exercise for Diesel. He got his supper from this track. It was the longest track he has had until now, and in the end of it he was not so focused anymore. I must try putting less good food in the beginning and some super good in the end.
He is very excited in the car when he knows he gets to train!!
This time, after about 15-20 meters, I had no longer put foor on every step. There were at times 4-5 steps without any food. In these parts of the track you can see Diesel leave the track and make a circle to the side. He returns to the track and continues and finds food again. This is how he learns that it is profitable to follow the track. ;-)
In the end he found the box and stopped to sniff it, but I was a fool and did not notice it. My mistake!
