Pari päivää ennen Joulua päästiin muuttamaan uuteen taloon. :-)

Koirat on käyneet täällä tontilla jo monta vuotta, ja nyt parin viikon ajan mukana sisällä silloin tällöin. Tässä talossa koirilla on isännän allergian takia pääsy kielletty yläkertaan, paitsi Pöpösellä, joka saa nukkua yläkerrassa kanssamme elämänsä loppuun asti, koska se on isännän uskollinen kaveri ja saanut jo yhden sydärin.

Alakerrassa on porttiviritelmät rakennettu rajaamaan koirien liikkumista ja mahdollistamaan tarvittaessa koirien erillään pitämisen. Koirien omasta tilasta on pääsy suoraan ulkotarhaan, joka on sekin jaettu kahtia jotta tarvittaessa voi pitää myös ulkona koiria kahdessa erässä. Lähinnä tässä on ajateltu sitä, että Miklos saattaa jossain vaiheessa vaatia omaa rauhaa enemmän kuin nuoriso antaisi sitä, joten sille on hyvä olla olemassa oma ulkotarha, jossa saa olla rauhassa vaikka aamusta iltaan, kun sää sallii. Se kun asuisi ulkona, jos siltä kysytään.

Tällä hetkellä ulkotarhat on järjestelty niin, että ovesta pääsee pienempään tarhaan ja siitä suoraan isompaan, joka onkin sitten tosi iso: koko tontin alarinne ja sivusta naapurin rajaa myöten on aidattu koirille. Kun ne vielä oppisivat käyttämään sitä! Nyt ollaan käyty yhdessä tallailemassa polkuja sinne, jotta polut ja hajut houkuttaisi koiria sinne itsenäisestikin.

Jida on ollut meillä muutamia päiviä hoidossa, kun Katja-emäntä oli reissussa Barcelonassa, josta pääsi kotimatkalla Euroopan lumimyräkän vuoksi vain Amsterdamiin asti ja juuttui sinne pariksi päiväksi. Diisu on ollut selvästi iloinen kun sillä on taas ollut juoksu- ja leikkikaveri. Hyvin viihtyvät Jidan kanssa yhdessä!

We finally moved into the new house a couple of days before Christmas! It is not yet complitely finished, but good enough to be moved in. :-) We have been living in the attic of the small house nextdoor for the past 1.5 years, most of our stuff packed up in cardboard boxes and stored away. So it feels so great to be finally able to move in our own house!

As the Mr in the house is allergic to dogs (like yours truly by the way) the upstairs of the new house is a canine-free zone. But because The Mop is master's favorite and faithful companion and has already suffered one heart attack at night, she can still sleep next to her master in the bedroom upstairs... ;-)

We have fenced a big area for the dogs; actually, when you let the dogs out the door they are right in the fenced area. Handy, and safe because the neighbours drive quite fast home on the road down the hill. Previously this part of the yard was always a no-no for the dogs but now it is particularly meant for their use. Now I just wait for them to learn to go there.

The dog fence is actually divided in two: a smaller part and a really big one. I assume that at some point Miklos will need more peace and quiet than the young ones will grant him, so then he can be in his own dog fence from morning until evening without anyone running over him all the time. After all, if you asked him, he'd live outside all day long from early spring until late autumn.

Jida spent a few days here with us as her mistress was travelling in Barcelona but stuck in Amsterdam for two extra days on the way home due to the snow storms in Europe. Diesel likes Jida a lot and they run and play outside nicely. :-)

Rinnettä ei ole vielä raivattu, joten paikoitellen maasto aitauksessa on melko metsäistä. ;-)
The terrain is still very much forest-like for the most part in the dog fence. It will be my project next spring to work it out.
